What Is Hemp Oil Rich In Phytocannabinoids? And How Does It Work?:
Cannabidiol derived from the ancient sativa l. hemp plant is processed into an all-natural holistic extract concentrate called CBD for short. The hemp plant is teeming with cannabinoids and fatty acids. Adaptogenic hemp gives a bounty of incredible wholesome nutrition. Hundreds of botanical chemical compounds found in hemp are not only safe, they can provide numerous preliminary health benefits, such as: antioxidant, antiinflammatory, and neuroprotective potential.
The mighty hemp plant is high in enzymes; fiber; vitamins; and plant-based essential minerals such as, calcium; zinc; iron; magnesium; manganese; sulphur; and phosphorus.
The Cannabaceae Family of plants is full of organic carotenes; flavonoids; ketones; nitrogenous compounds; super-cannabinoids, chlorophyll, and terpenoids.
There are over 400 natural phyto-nutrients from nature in the Cannabaceae Family. There are over 12,000 medical studies & periodicals regarding its attributes.
Hemp is rich in omega fatty acids 3, 6 & 9.
Hemp is considered to be a "nutraceutical" by those in the holistic industry (not the FDA or DEA). Many natural herbalists, personally classify hemp as a stand alone "super-food." Hemp can offer a complete spectrum of natural proteins, all 20 amino acids plus all eight essential amino acides. Sativa l. hemp contains the perfect ratio of omega fatty acids 3,6,9, as well as, high levels of vitamins A, C, and E and is rich in essential minerals, chlorophyll and enzymes.
Can Hemp Oil Make Someone High?:
If a cannabidiol (CBD) product is legally compliant with the law by maintaining the THC content to <.3%, these minuscule levels do not produce a high when ingested. At these levels, the product is considered virtually THC-free with trace amounts.
One would have to consume dozens and dozens of CBD oil with low THC thresholds such as this in order to achieve a psychoactive effect. For most, that option is cost prohibitive.
Touchstone offers a THC free version that has ZERO THC according to lab tests. The THC free version is called broad spectrum CBD hemp oil. Touchstone also has a legal <.3% THC version of their CBD in the 1500 mg formula, this is called full spectrum. The consumer can choose the CBD product that is right for their lifestyle.
How Does The Non-THC Hemp Oil Operate Inside The Human Body To Manifest Its Health Benefits?:
Full spectrum and broad spectrum hemp oil supports the human body’s endogenous endocannabinoid system (ECS). This ESC system plays a crucial role in our homeostasis, sleep, hunger, moods and an overall sense of well-being. Endocannabinoids receptor cites and the chemicals that bind to them are everywhere in the body – from our organs to our cells. The endocannabinoid system performs various functions. Ultimately, the goal is always homeostasis or balance, and maintaining a stable internal equilibrium to counteract negative stimuli from our internal and external environments.
What Are Botanical Terpenes In Hemp?
Terpenes are the fragrant oils that give botanical plants and flowers of all kinds, such as, cannabis an aromatic bouquet in terms of pungent smells and flavors. Along with being responsible for the olfactory aromas in natures botanical plants, terpenes mingle with the psychological effects associated with those aromas, rendering end-user sensations. For example, limonene is a very prevalent terpene in cannabis and other plants such as pine, silver maples, Douglas furs, cedars, lemons, oranges and other citrus fruits. Limonene gives off a slightly clean and airy lemon scent that interacts with other terpenes that are unique to each specific breed of cannabis strain.
Terpenes are GRAS. This means, the FDA classifies them as generally recognized as safe. Terpenes act on receptors and neurotransmitters in the brain the same way cannabinoids do. They are more easily absorbed by body tissues when dissolved in lipids or fats. Terpenes can function as serotonin uptake inhibitors. Serotonin will stay in the bloodstream longer and is considered one of the "feel good" neurotransmitters. Terpenes can also enhance norepinephrine activity, and increase dopamine activity, while augmenting GABA (the “downer” neurotransmitter that counters glutamate, the “upper”, simultaneously.
However, all of our brands of broad spectrum hemp oil sold on this website are free of the cannabinoid, THC or contain less than .3% THC. This tiny quantity of THC does not produce a "high" and is the legal quantity available for sale in the US.
Each batch of broad spectrum hemp oil that are sold on this website have third party scientific lab verification testing of the levels of cannabinoids, terpenes and THC along with other phytocannabinoids present. Reports are printed and stored for each batch of hemp oil produced in order to stay compliant with all US laws. Our phytocannabinoid-rich hemp products are also lab tested for consistency and verified as being free of mold, bacteria, pesticides, solvent residues, and other contaminants.
Why Are Cannabinoid Companies Not Allowed To Make Health Claims?
Hemp companies are not allowed by law to make medical claims on any potential health benefits of hemp oil. Here at HempKing.biz we encourage everyone to do his or her own research.
The British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology published a review in 2013, and a 2003 U.S. Government Patent found that the molecular structure cannabidiol otherwise known as CBD acts as an antioxidant, reducing free radicals that can cause degenerative neurological symptoms. The 2013 study, along with the clinical trials performed in the 2003 patent claims a list many potential health benefits of cannabis. These researched findings along with other credible medical studies and sources can be found with fortitude and due diligence.
There are many individual testimonials of individuals who claim they have received personal benefits from the use of CBD, but those reviews are to be scrutinized or believed accordingly. If you have a need to try non-THC hemp oil teeming in cannabinoids and terpenes, it may behoove you to check with your doctor. You may have nothing else to lose except to embrace a highly nutritious plant-based protein food source packed full of vitamins, minerals, protein, amino acids and omegas 3, 6, & 9. It doesn't get any better than that.
HEMP 101 FACTOIDS:
Betsy Ross made the first American Flag for our nation on natural hemp cloth linen for the American Republic.
There is a patent No. 6,630,507 that was issued for the medicinal use of cannabis by the United State Department of Health and Human Services, HHS. Obscure as this information has been, inside this registered patent HHS discusses the potential uses of the non-psychoactive cannabinoids in cannabis for diseases such as cirrhosis. Further, they declare cannabinoids could be used to protect the brain from damage or deterioration, in preliminary medical reviews.
"Hemp was a 100% legal and necessary commodity for the first 162 years of America’s existence. Hemp was demonized in 1930’s by Harry Anslinger, the first commissioner of the Treasury Department’s Federal Bureau of Narcotics (FBN). A direct quote from Harry Anslinger went like this: “the devil’s weed with roots in hell.” At Anslinger’s urgent demand, the US government rebranded hemp by calling it by its Mexican name “marijuana.” This demoralization or "gas lighting" of the sacred cannabis plant was part of a conspiracy to gather public support for the prohibition of hemp and it's cousin marijuana. This was the beginning of Hemp Prohibition. (Anslinger was well known as a racist and a staunch supporter of the prohibition of cannabis, regularly spouting hateful propaganda speech like “Reefer makes darkies think they’re as good as white men”)." The use of hemp cord in pottery has been identified in an Taiwan ancient village site dating back to over 10,000 years ago.
Many famous sophisticated books and pieces of historical literature were written on hemp paper, to include: The Gutenberg Bible (15th century); The King James Version of the Bible (17th century); Thomas Paine's pamphlets: The Rights of Man, Common Sense, and The Age of Reason; The works of Mark Twain, Alexander Dumas, and Victor Hugo; and Lewis Carroll's beloved classic, Alice in Wonderland.
Paper made out of hemp is of much greater quality and durability than that made out of cotton, and it lasts longer. During Colonial times, a few hundred years ago, bibles, maps, paper money, stocks & bonds, and newspapers were all printed or written on hemp paper.
The USA is the only industrialized country that banned the cultivation of industrial hemp in 1970. Slowly the laws in the USA are changing to allow farmers to grow hemp! The 14 states that have already passed laws allowing hemp production are California, Colorado, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, Tenneessee, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, North Carolina and West Virginia, and the vote comes as even more states are showing an interest in hemp.
Hemp is a hardy plant that does not need herbicides or pesticides flourish and it thrives with relatively no signs of disease or pestilence. Most hemp fields are grown using organic farming methods.
Hemp seeds are considered a nearly “perfect food.” The seeds of hemp contain all 20 Amino Acids, with a naturally balanced 1:3 ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids. Omega fatty acids are seriously lacking from the American diet today because of the removal of hemp from our food supply. It has only been recently where hemp education and awareness has brought this American staple back into grocery stores and back on the supper table.
Hemp seed oil varieties, that are typically grown for food can reach up to 10-15 feet tall within 90-120 days, from seed to harvest.”
CBD hemp oil isn't new. But the methods of extraction have allowed for its production in the mass manufacturing of products. Hemp is a profitable crop due to its versatility of uses. Cultivators and harvesters utilize the entire plant for every conceivable use.
Hemp can be transformed into over 25,000 practical everyday products, for example; fabric, rope, paper, apothecaries, food & beverages, health & skin care, beauty products, printer's inks, paint, fuel, and building materials.
In paper pulp manufacturing hemp is the king of ecology, providing four times as much pulp for paper with 4-7 times less pollution than tree paper pulp production. Hemp paper can be made without any erosion or ecological damage to landscapes.
All the colonial patriarchs such as, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Ben Franklin all grew industrial hemp.
Hemp seed oil has been legal everywhere in all 50 states in the USA for some time now. CBD, cannabidiol has been recently removed from the Schedule 1 section of the drug substance control act. Hemp prohibition is lifting in many parts of the world now.
Hemp Oil Is Non-Psychoactive Unequivocally, one cannot get "buzzed" or "intoxicated" by consuming CBD hemp oil or any natural product from made from the industrial hemp plants. Unlike “Medical Marijuana,” hemp does not contain the psychoactive properties of THC in a large enough percentile to raise much concern. CBD products are considered by the mainstream medical community to be anti-psychoactive.
Phytocannabinoid-rich hemp oil is high in cannabinoids, such as cannabidiol, CBD, and it does not produce a high when ingested or smoked (such as, the dried bud hemp flowers), unlike its cousin THC predominant in marijuana. Marijuana's THC is known to bind to receptor sites CB1 in the brain to produce a high. But, hemp lacks this affinity for attachment to the CB1 receptors. Therefore, hemp oil is non-psychoactive.
CB1 receptors are found in large numbers and concentrations in the brain and the spine and they are also found in the spleen, white blood cells, the endocrine system, as well as, the reproductive organs, and gastrointestinal and urinary tracts. It's these specific CB1 pathways that are responsible for the psychoactive effects of THC. THC does have an affinity to CB1 receptors, and it is the attachment of the THC cannabinoids to these CB1 receptors that produces the sensation feeling "high" normally associated with marijuana.
Industrial hemp and marijuana are not completely identical in chemical composition, as they vary in percentiles of CBD vs THC levels.
There are 3 different prime varieties of cannabis: 1. sativa l. hemp (generally used to make CBD) 2. endica (marijuana) 3. ruderallis
When harvested, the flowering tops of the endica cannabis plant are what is known as "marijuana" and the leaves of psychoactive varieties of cannabis are cultivated for their high THC content.
Cannabidiol (CBD) - is one of over 100 phytocannabinoids found in cannabis. THC is just one phytocannabidinoid. Cannabidiol, CBD is a major constituent of the hemp plant, second only to tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) most prevalent in the endica strains.
In early medical peer estimations, compared with THC, the CBD molecule is not psychoactive and is considered to have a wider scope of potential medical applications over that of THC. Currently, CBD is being tested in medical laboratories all over the world to unlock the effects it might have on conditions such as: spasms, anxiety disorders, mood swings, nausea, convulsion and inflammation. Cannabidiol is being researched on animal models, as well as in vitro for breast cancer research studies on cell growth. Cannabis has been shown to reduce the growth of aggressive human breast cancer cells in vitro and again in animal models, and to reduce their aggressive and invasive nature. These medical findings are non-conclusive preliminary studies that are not formally endorsed or backed by science.
Other research indicates that phytocannabinoid-rich hemp oil can increase a potential state of alertness.
Cannabis is not a cure for disease or disorders of any kind. The human body, body, mind, and soul does the healing to sickness.
Hemp fields can out-produce pine trees by 4 x's by creating significantly more fiber per acre.
Pine tree paper can be recycled up to 3 x's. However, hemp paper can be recycled over double that figure, up to 7 x's more times.
Hemp and humanity have have had an intimate relationship for over 10,000 years all over the world.
Prior to prohibition, hemp remained the largest cash crop on the mother earth.
Hemp was the very first industrialized agricultural crop in America.
Hemp farms were banned in the United States but continued all over the world by way of tyranny. Countries leading the industrial hemp production and farming technology are Israel, China, Russia, Hungary, England, Romania, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, Holland, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, India, Holland and Asia. More countries are joining this hemp movement.
Hemp paper fibers resists decomposition. When an acid-free ancient production method was utilized to make hemp paper, the paper does not yellow with age. Excavations have unearthed relics of hemp paper reading materials that were upwards of over 1,500 years old.
During WWII hemp was essential to the war as a commodity. At that point in history, US federal government subsidized American farmers in order to grow an estimates a million acres of hemp using government subsidies.
In the 1880s and prior, school books were developed from either hemp or flax paper.
Between 1630 - 1880 it was acceptable and legal to pay personal taxes with your hemp harvest.
The first American paper mill for the production of hemp was initiated by Benjamin Franklin.
In 1941, Ford constructed a hemp fueled prototype car that contained body parts partially constructed from hemp composites.
During the Colonial Period it was against the law not to grow hemp on your property as a commodity for the safety and prosperity of all. Mainly, hemp was grown for the production of the sails on ships and for the maritime rope. Americans were legally duty bound to grow hemp.
The word canvas is derivatived from the root word, cannabis.
